Description
Meet us and the rest of the group at the Meeting Point and drive to Trapani to catch on the hydrofoil to join the amazing Favignana the bigger island in the Egadi archipelago.
The hydrofoil from Trapani arrives at Favignana Town’s bustling little harbour, which, for centuries, was protected by the Fort of Santa Caterina. Originally built by the Arabs as a watchtower, subsequently enlarged by the Normans, and later used as a prison by the Bourbon Kings, Favignana Town has an easy, unpretentious charm and a relaxing atmosphere.
Upon arrival pick the bicycle which is the most popular form of transport on Favignana thanks to the island’s diminutive size –it measures under 9km from east to west–, it is easy biking it.
Time at leisure and in the afternoon drop the bike off, catch on the hidrofoil to back to Trapani and vehicle to get back to Palermo.
